How to Connect Facebook With Twitter

Facebook (stylized facebook) is a social networking service and website launched in February 2004, operated and privately owned by Facebook, Inc. As of January 2011^[update], Facebook has more than 600 million active users.

1. Twitter Facebook Application

   • Log in to your Twitter account.
   • Navigate to the "Twitter Facebook" application (see Resources).
   • Click on the "Install Twitter on Facebook" button at the bottom of the page.
   • Fill in your Facebook information, if you are not already logged in.
   • Click the "Allow" button to allow Twitter to access your Facebook profile information.
   • Click the "Allow Twitter to post updates to: Facebook Profile" checkbox on the left side of the screen. All of your tweets will be visible as your Facebook status.

   Selective Tweet Status

   • Log in to your Facebook account.
   • Navigate to the "Selective Tweet" application (see Resources).
   • Type your Twitter user name in the text box on the left side of the screen.
   • Click the "Save" button.
   • Click the "Allow" button in the window that appears to allow the application to access your profile information.
   • Type the characters "#fb" at the end of any tweet that you want posted to Facebook.

   Facebook Page to Twitter

   • Log in to your Facebook account.
   • Navigate to the "Facebook to Twitter" application (see Resources).
   • Click the "Link a Page to Twitter" button at the bottom of the screen.
   • Click the "Link to Twitter" button after the page name that you want to link. All of the status updates to the page will be visible on Twitter.
