The only option you have with Facebook is to use the Video application in order to upload your videos (stored in your PC, transfer them from your mobile phone or record them directly) to your profile. Most popular formats (avi, mpeg, mpg, flv, wmv etc’) are supported. To insert a video into your profile follow the directions provided below:
1. Login to Facebook.com.
2. Under your Applications click Video.
3. If you don’t have the Video application, you will have to click the Application button. Then search for the word ?video.? Then click on video, and on the video page click Add video to your Facebook account.
4. Now that you are in the Video application you are free to upload videos.
5. When you find a video you would like to share with your Facebook friends, simple click the add button and confirm it being added to your profile.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1880691795219141359.post-51635981631479464472011-03-31T09:59:00.000-07:002011-03-31T09:59:13.738-07:00How to delete your Facebook account ?
the Facebook account deletion process is straightforward. All you need to do is simply, login to your Facebook account, then click Account and from the Deactivate section choose Deactivate.
That was easy, isn’t it? The only caveat is that Facebook won’t actually wipe out your account but just keep it inactive. Therefore if you want to permanently delete your account, you should manually do the following:

Delete your photo

Delete Comments and messages you wrote

Delete your friends from your friends list.

Leave all your networks and groups you have joined.

Delete all your photo albums.

If you want to reactivate your account, just login to Facebook with your email and password. You’ll be then instructed on the procedure to follow in order to reactivate the account.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1880691795219141359.post-10486311598574797422011-03-24T09:59:00.000-07:002011-03-24T09:59:43.231-07:00Best Facebook Games-Crazy Taxi
Crazy Taxi – Drive your taxi as fast as possible while jumping over the traffic!
Upload files/photos/videos to Flickr, Picasa, Youtube, Box.net(1GB of free space), Facebook,... Webshots and OmniDrive in this version. Next versions would support other websites like Google Videos etc. You can add multiple files to the queue at a time. Extension will take care of uploading them for you.

There are so many instances where you had to upload files from your local computer to a website. The standard upload mechanism in any website has many limitations like
**They allow you to upload 1 file or a maximum of 10 files at a time.

**They doesn't show any information like upload progress i.e how much was already uploaded and how much is still remaining.

This extension addresses these limitations by providing a intuitive way to upload the files. The benefits of using this extension are

*It shows the local folders and remote folders which enables you to upload files by single click.

*You can upload any number of files at a time.

*You can upload files to multiple websites using a single interface (using only one extension).

*Ability to add multiple accounts and upload files to each account independently.

*Site specific features are also included and will be improved in the coming versions. eg. Box.net: giving public/private access to files.

More features will be included in the coming versions. This extension is still rudimentary and user feedback is appreciated.
We provide all the personal information one way or the other in the social network, hence its very important to know and control the activities on these sites. If you notice some suspicious activity on your Facebook wall take some time to see if someone else is using your account with simple security check.

Go to Facebook.com -> Account -> Account Settings -> Account Security. Here you’ll see a list of all computers and mobile devices that have logged into your Facebook account and when. You can also see the approximate geographic location of the device, based on the IP address, that was used to access your Facebook account.

If you come across an unknown device / location in the list, say you are Mac user and the device listed is IE on Windows, just click the corresponding “end activity” link and it should immediately log you out from that machine.

For extra safety, you may also choose to receive email and SMS alerts if someone else tries to log into your Facebook account from a previously unknown computer or mobile phone. (I wish Google could bring such a feature to Gmail as well).

Google’s Gmail has a similar functionality using which you can track the user activity on the Gmail Account. Facebook has added one more level of security to send SMS alerts if someone else tries to log into your Facebook account from a previously unknown computer or mobile phone.
For instance, you got married recently and thus your last name (surname) changed. Or you have been using your nickname on Facebook till now and would now like to update it with your real name.

Log on to Facebook.
Once logged into Facebook, click the "Account" link in the top right corner of the page, and click "Account Settings" from the drop down menu.
Look for the "Name" section, click the "change" link, and enter the new information.
Click the Change Name button.

· You can not change your name to random stuff, like, say your name's Andy Gee and your nickname is Epic Gee: you can't use your nickname.

You can however change it to Andy 'Epic' Gee.
Remember that it can take Facebook Servers up to 24 hours to replicate changes, however this process typically take a matter of seconds
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
